Gustavo Lisama

Gustavo started training in muay thai and kempo karate in 2001 for health and fitness.  He is a 3rd degree black belt in kempo karate and has been teaching both disciplines since 2008.  He fell in love with martial arts because of the technical aspects and the strong sense of community that came with training.  In 2010, Gustavo competed in a couple amateur muay thai fights, but quickly realized that he loved the art of teaching more than being a competitor.  Gustavo has spent the last decade perfecting his teaching and making it applicable for all experience and age levels.  As an instructor and lifelong student, his goal is to grow a strong sense of community while creating a safe space for those who are working toward goals to improve themselves.  Gustavo is also a student under Jose (Coach Panda) and holds a blue belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu.
